Zoe Gath
Collective Gridlock and Moral Conviction

Bachelor's in Psychological Science (Honours), University of Queensland

Leila Eisner

Zoe's research addresses the following research question:

What is the role of collective gridlock and moral conviction on radical and conventional action intentions?

For my honours thesis, we investigated the role of collective gridlock and moral conviction on radical and conventional action intentions. Specifically, this work was conducted within the climate context, where we recruited supporters of taking action to address climate change. Gridlock is defined by prolonged, divisive intergroup stalemates that render groups of stakeholders unable to address urgent problems.

I have worked with Winnifred since late 2020 and have previously explored aspects that may contribute to different ally profiles.
