About Tianyi (Andrea)
 
Andrea 's academic background is in social and clinical psychology. Born and raised in China, she moved to Australia to complete her honours degree in psychological science at University of Queensland. Then, she works as a research assistant with Dr Winnifred Louis in the Social Change Lab, focusing on the psychology of (a) environmental movements, and (b) collective actions.

She has also worked in the field of clinical psychology for 2 years, focusing on children with developmental disorders and elderly people with advanced dementia. Her works in dementia research includes managing chronic pain and improving the life quality of elderly people, using therapeutic robots and artificial intelligence. She also did her placement in Mind Science & My Health (MSMH), a private practice providing psychotherapies to children and youth with developmental disorders such as autism and ADHD.
