Dr. Christoph Klebl
Structural Climate Policies and Social Change

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, The University of Queensland;
PhD in Moral Psychology, University of Melbourne;
Master of Science, Humboldt University of Berlin;
Bachelor of Science, Friedrich Schiller University Jena

Leila Eisner

Christoph 's research addresses the following broad research question:

How social contexts lead people to support structural climate policies?

My research is at the intersection of social, environmental, and moral psychology. I am studying the factors that influence people’s support for climate change policies. I’m particularly interested in the social contexts that lead people to support structural climate policies. I’m also interested in the role of aesthetic judgments in people’s moral concern for other people, animals, and nature.

About Christoph

I completed my PhD in moral psychology at the University of Melbourne in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Brock Bastian and Dr. Katharine Greenaway. My PhD research investigated the influence of aesthetic judgments on moral standing attributions. Currently, I’m a postdoctoral research fellow on Prof. Jolanda Jetten’s ARC Laureate Fellowship, studying the factors increasing people’s support for structural climate policies.
